Bio

Justyna Sochaj is a contemporary dancer, community dance practitioner and qualified dance teacher. Graduating from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2011 with a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Dance, Justyna then joined the Nutshell Dance Company.

She was also a member of Experimental Dance Studio‘EST’ (Poland) as well as Gesture and Movement Theatre (Poland) groups. Her work in dance includes site-specific projects, workshops, performances and educational work.

She has participated in several dance projects with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures Dance Company, Tino Sehgal, Levantes Dance Theatre and several other prestigious companies.

Justyna believes that dance can transform lives of individuals and communities and as a dance artist she would like to inspire people to get involved in dance.
